Rav Menachem Leibtag [YHE '77] headed the Overseas Program at Yeshivat Har Etzion for over a decade, after completing the Hesder Program and academic studies at Machon Lev, the Jerusalem College of Technology. His Tanach classes at Yeshiva, emphasizing biblical theme and structure, have opened his students' eyes to new dimensions within the text, while transmitting a deeper appreciation of Torah values. He was instrumental in creating the Yeshiva's Virtual Beit Midrash, which today reaches tens of thousands of readers worldwide, and then initiated the Tanach Study Center, his own comprehensive program for the study of Tanach on the Internet. He also teaches at Midreshet Lindenbaum and Yeshivat Sha'alvim.
