This week, we will discuss the disposal and destruction of chametz, known as bi’ur chametz, and the almost universally accepted practice of selling chametz to a non-Jew before Pesach. We will also briefly mention the prohibition of eating chametz she-avar alav ha-Pesach, chametz which was owned by a Jew during Pesach.
