Rav Shlomo Brin studied at the Netev Meir Yeshiva High School in Jerusalem and joined Yeshivat Har Etzion in 1974. He served in the IDF as a combat medic in the context of the Hesder Program and fought in the Yom Kippur War and the Peace for Galilee War. He studied at the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem for a brief period, and afterwards, returned to Yeshivat Har Etzion. Today, Rav Brin serves as a Ram for first-year students in the Yeshiva, as well as teaching in the Yeshiva and Herzog College. He is in the midst of a Masters program in Jewish Philosophy at Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Rav Brin is a member of the Yeshiva Board and serves as Deputy Chairman. Son-in-law to Rav Yehuda Amital zt"l, Rav Brin is married to Tali; they have 6 children and live in Alon Shevut. |
